About Shining Lights Farm

Shining Lights Farm LLC was founded by Anita Fondikum, a third-generation farmer from Cameroon. Anita grew up working on her family's farm and later studied agricultural entrepreneurship. After moving to Minnesota, she continued her passion for farming by growing traditional West African crops and building a farm that supports food access, culture, and community.

The farm is family-based and focuses on growing fresh African vegetables that are often difficult to find in local grocery stores. By growing these crops locally in Minnesota, Shining Lights Farm helps make culturally familiar foods fresher, more affordable, and easier to access.
